My boss and I have the same first name, which proved to be a bit problematic when I first started working for the company and repeatedly sent him goofy wasted party pics of my roommates and I in our new apartment when I meant to be emailing them to myself to download onto my computer the next day.

My boss and my brother share a very similar name - in fact, they have the same initials. After someone who had my boss’s email in his contacts as his abbreviation included me on a chain email, my Outlook instinctively pulls up my boss’s email when I type the first two letters of my brother’s email address. Here is what was supposed to go to my brother but went to my boss instead. The best part is taht my boss never mentioned anything until I wrote a second email about Mother’s Day a few days later.
